"I cannot recommend Nick and James from the disengagement team highly enough! My experience with them has been exceptional. Not only do they genuinely care about the well-being of both patients and staff, but their expertise is unmatched. Having worked in mental health for nearly 16 years, I can confidently say they are the best trainers I have ever encountered.
The bespoke training they provide to wards ensures that patients receive the safest care possible during their most challenging moments. The programme is incredibly thorough, with a strong emphasis on keeping everyone safe while always adhering to the principles of least restrictive practice. This focus on safeguarding all involved is truly commendable.
This training is invaluable, not only for NHS trusts but also for local businesses seeking to equip their staff with the knowledge and confidence to handle difficult situations safely. There is no price you can put on the safety of patients and staff.
If you’re considering booking their training, don’t hesitate—this is an investment in safety and care that you won’t regret!"

Respect to Care was excited to participate in the national Maybo conference. James presented some of the previous work he has lead on related to patient experience and restraint reduction whilst he was in post at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS trust. We will always strive to promote health and safety in every aspect of patient care. We enjoyed learning from our colleagues and sharing best practices to enhance patient care across the industry.
