This course looks deep into the link between what you might think and then what you might say in situations where conflict might exist. We explore how you can use your verbal communication to defuse conversations, gain trust, and generate cooperation. Whoever you are, this course could be beneficial for you. Whether you’re coming to the course as a parent, employer, employee and regardless of what industry you work in this course will advise you on how to communicate with confidence in high octane situations when emotions might be running high. Being able to empathise with someone is important when trying to communicate in a difficult situation. This course will teach you techniques to both listen and converse more effectively. The course will take participants through common themes on why conflict in some situations is heightened through the things we do and say it will then delve into how these can be successfully overcome.
